Nestled in the Texas Hill Country, Root & Rest is a cozy, rustic women’s yoga retreat devoted to grounding, gentle movement, and deep rest. No fixing. No pushing. Just space to soften, settle, and be held.

This is a 4 day, 3 night retreat held at Tres Lunas Resort. A true piece of hill country paradise, Tres Lunas is located about 30 minutes to Fredericksburg and nearby attractions like wineries, shopping, Enchanted Rock National Park, and more. Tres Lunas Resort is tucked away on Meusebach Mountain in the historic area of the Texas Hill Country known as Loyal Valley.

Included in the retreat…

• Welcome charcuterie and wine toast featuring local goods and treats

• A generous Texas comfort breakfast each morning, served family-style. Warm and nourishing, this meal is designed to leave you feeling grounded and full (featuring a 100+ year old sourdough starter!)

• Slow, unhurried 4-course dinners as the sun begins to set. Warm light, easy conversation, and food meant to be savored.

• Daily grounding exercises in the form of barefoot walking, gentle movement, yin yoga and connecting with the natural world through natural dye with special guest Shelley Christner, a local-to-Denton artist and Nancy’s mom :)

• All yoga mats, props, etc. will be provided for you to utilize

• Access to the 112-acre property to spy local wildlife and flora/fauna

• 25-mile view of western sky from our hot tub. Magnificent sunsets!

• Enjoy the evening and the sky sitting by the fire pit

• Soak up the warmth of the sun at the vanishing edge pool

The cost of the retreat will depend on your choice of room and roommate preference.

$500 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot which will go toward the total cost.

Not included in the retreat package:

• Travel costs. If you will be flying, you can fly into the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and drive from there. If you plan to drive, we will send you information on arrival as cell service is minimal as you near the resort.

• Daily transportation for trips into town, etc.

  • There will be parking available on-site for any who wish to drive.

  • You are welcome to go explore outside the resort. All activities are optional and you may choose to do whatever will best serve you and your time.

• Daily lunches and alcohol

  • You will likely be plenty full from breakfast to sustain you through the day. We recommend bringing snacks, drinks, etc. that you would like to have for yourself.

  • Alcohol is welcome as desired. We simply ask that you drink responsibly to respect the sacred space of the retreat.
